Account Deletion
Last updated: September 2026
Crewio employee accounts are managed by your Organization (your employer), so account deletion works a little differently than a typical consumer app. This page explains exactly how to request deletion of your account and data, whether or not you still have the Crewio app installed.
1. Employee accounts are company-managed
- Your Crewio account is created and administered by your Organization (your employer), not by you signing up in the app. The Crewio mobile app has no account-creation or sign-up screen - only login.
- Because attendance, payroll, and compliance records are tied to your Organization's own legal and business obligations, you cannot directly delete your account or these records from within the app.
2. How to request account or data deletion
- In the app: open Profile > Legal & Privacy > Request Account Deactivation, and submit the request. This notifies your Organization's administrator directly (by email and in their dashboard) so they can review and act on it.
- By email: if you no longer have the app installed, or can't access it, email [email protected] with your full name, your Organization's (employer's) name, and the mobile number or email registered on your account. We will identify your account and forward the request to your Organization's administrator.
3. What happens after you submit a request
- Your Organization's administrator is notified and reviews the request.
- They may deactivate your login access, reset your credentials, or archive your profile.
- Your account and associated personal data may be permanently deleted where your Organization's policies and applicable legal retention requirements allow it.
- Once your access is deactivated, you can no longer log in and any device push tokens tied to your account are revoked immediately.
4. Data that may be retained
- Attendance, payroll, timesheet, and audit/compliance records are generally retained by your Organization for as long as required for payroll, tax, or labor-law compliance, even after your account is deactivated or your employment ends. This mirrors what's described in our Privacy Policy.
- Retention timeframes are set by your Organization's own legal and business requirements, not by Crewio, since Crewio is the platform your Organization uses to meet those obligations.
5. Contact
- Questions about this process can be directed to your Organization's office administrator, or to [email protected].
